WINTEC is currently providing electronic systems and software support for the Multiple Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Removal System (MURS) being developed under the Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) program sponsored by Air Force Civil Engineering Center, Tyndall AFB, FL.
WINTEC supports a broader Government and contractor team focused on an expedited approach to ADR. Used in conjunction with the Rapid Airfield Damage Assessment System (RADAS), MURS accomplishes the critical phase of clearing any UXO detected by RADAS to enable the airfield repair teams and assets to restore a damaged airfield operation in a specified amount of time.
A variety of sensor, navigation, propulsion, and end-effector subsystems combine with robotic behaviors to accomplish the total mission objectives.
WINTEC has been engaged in myriad robotics applications for over 20 years in support of Air Force and Joint Services program and mission needs.
