in aircraft systems and avionics, stores management systems, platform-launcher-stores integration,
special test equipment, emulators/simulators/translators, weapon systems technology, unmanned air
and ground systems, and specialized systems engineering and test and evaluation. Our special test and
integration equipment can be found in aircraft and systems integration laboratories across the United
States. Our software teams are well versed in advanced embedded real-time operating systems and
software technologies executed on compact ruggedized computing platforms.
WINTEC also places strong emphasis on participation in aircraft-store integration standards organizations including the SAE Aerospace Avionics Systems Group. We are active in applications and technologies involving Universal Armament Interface (UAI), MIL-STD-1760E, Miniature Munitions Store Interface (MMSI), Interface for Micro-Munitions (IMM), AFDX, and advancedfibre-channel andfiber- optic communications and interface technologies. WINTEC's participation keeps us at the forefront of emerging technologies to meet our customers' current and future needs.
Our software engineering expertise is founded on application of sound principles and proven processes— and decades of software development and risk management experience. WINTEC has applied the core principles of the Object Management Group's Model Driven Architecture (MDA ™), Architecture & Analysis Development Language (AADL), Universal Modeling Language (UML), to many of our projects.
WINTEC likewise offers longstanding expertise and experience in development of hardware prototypes as well as executing low-rate production of electronic systems and components.
