Since 1983, WINTEC has built a solid reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions for our customers’ toughest problems. Our expertise in systems and software engineering provide these solutions for many military applications—including manned/unmanned aircraft and weapons/sensors integration and ground robotics systems.
Our customers include the US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, USSOCOM, and many prime Defense Contractors and commercial-aviation avionics and armament control systems.
WINTEC maintains our core competencies through our strong team of subject matter experts (SMEs) in aircraft systems and avionics, stores management systems, platform-launcher- stores integration, special test equipment, emulators/simulators/translators, weapon systems technology, unmanned air and ground systems, and specialized systems engineering and test and evaluation.
Our special test and integration equipment and emulators can be found in aircraft and systems integration laboratories across the United States. Our software teams are well versed in advanced embedded real-time operating systems and object-oriented software technologies executed on compact ruggedized computing platforms.
WINTEC also places strong emphasis on participation in aircraft-store integration standards organizations including the SAE Aerospace Avionics Systems Group (ASG) and Universal Armament Interface (UAI) SJICWGs. WINTEC’s participation keeps us at the forefront of emerging technologies to meet our customers’ current and future needs.
We are active in applications and technologies involving Universal Armament Interface, MIL-STD-1760E, Miniature Munitions Store Interface (MMSI), Interface for Micro-Munitions (IMM), AFDX, and advanced fibre-channel and fiber-optic communications and interface technologies. We currently are developing the AFRL Weapon Open System Architecture (WOSA) for future air-launched weapons, specialized high-density weapon store carriage, and assorted emulators.
Our software engineering expertise is founded on application of sound principles and proven processes — and decades of software development and risk-management experience. WINTEC likewise offers longstanding expertise and experience in development of hardware prototypes as well as executing low-rate production of electronic systems and components.
Our design efforts are predicated upon performing comprehensive and thorough requirements analyses, progressing through objective and tractable systems and software development processes–-and of paramount importance— culminating in rigorous and objective testing to all design requirements.
